Dr. Bilko graduated cum laude with dual bachelor’s degrees in biology and history from the University of Dallas in Texas and earned her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC.

At Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio, she completed an internal medicine residency, serving as clinic chief, followed by a hematology/oncology fellowship.

Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support and basic life support, Dr. Bilko most recently completed her fellowship, providing inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care at Miami Valley Hospital and Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio.

She also worked on a quality improvement study as co-principal investigator to create and establish a Cancer Navigation Class at the DVAMC Oncology Clinic to improve care coordination, enhance access to information and reduce patient anxiety and dissatisfaction at diagnosis.
